Concrete in South Florida works in a chloride-rich, high-humidity environment that attacks reinforcement through any crack, cold joint or thin spot in the cover. Most of the spalling you see on Miami balconies started as two missing centimetres of concrete cover thirty years ago.
We place structural concrete with the cover, consolidation and curing the specification calls for, and we restore existing concrete the way engineers actually want it done: sound the member, remove to solid material, treat and replace the steel, then re-profile with a bonded repair mortar chosen for the exposure.
