Who we are
BG Construction & Development — BG Coral Construction to the builders who have used us for decades — started in Allapattah in 1998 with two crews and a pickup truck, working as a subcontractor for other Miami builders.
What changed the business was not a bigger truck. It was noticing that the projects going wrong were rarely going wrong on site. They were stalling in plan review, failing inspections in the wrong sequence, or unravelling because nobody had written down what was included. So we built an in-house permitting desk, put one project manager in charge of each job end to end, and started issuing written weekly reports.
Today we run eleven service lines, from a single bathroom to occupied high-rise concrete restoration. The licence, the insurance and the process are the same on all of them.
Six commitments we do not negotiate
These are not marketing lines. They are the rules our project managers are held to.
Everything is permitted
If the work needs a permit, we pull it. No exceptions, no 'it's only a small job' — because unpermitted work resurfaces at the title search.
Schedules we can defend
The date we give you is derived from lead times and inspection cycles, not from what you would like to hear.
One voice
One project manager, one weekly written report, one number to call. You never have to reconcile three trades' versions of the same week.
Priced before it's done
Concealed conditions are photographed and priced before we proceed. Nothing appears on an invoice that you have not approved in writing.
Documented for the future
Permit numbers, inspection records, warranties and as-builts assembled at hand-over — the package your buyer's inspector will ask for in ten years.
Our own crews on finishes
Drywall, tile, millwork and paint stay under our supervision, because that is what the project gets judged on.

Founded in Allapattah as a two-crew remodeling contractor working for other builders in Miami-Dade.
Licensed general contractor
Certified General Contractor licence obtained; first ground-up residential projects delivered.
Permitting desk opens
A dedicated in-house permitting team is formed after too many good projects stall in plan review.
Restoration & recertification
The unsafe-structures and 40-year recertification practice becomes a core part of the business.
Design-build delivery
Single-contract design-build offered with in-house design partners and formal cost reporting.

Eleven service lines, four hundred-plus permits closed, and the same policy since 1998: one project manager, one schedule, one point of responsibility.
